12 on Tues

1- Jayde is back at school and thus the ‘routine’ of our lives returns. I am so overwhelmed with ‘little kid’ learning and the sheer amount of ‘stuff’ that they are doing. It seems like they grow so unbearably fast! Jayde is now at the ‘question’ age. This means that we no longer are being asked intelligent questions, but now have random questions from a broad variety of subjects reaching our ears non-stop. For example: 'how many days in a year? Have I been alive for one year? When we go on holiday, will dad still go to work? Is your shoulder or elbow stronger? Why don’t cockroaches camouflage themselves? Why do we need to tell the time when no one is asking?'. This also goes along with other miscellaneous ramblings, for example: 'I taught myself how to fly, I jumped off the couch and flew for a whole second!; Mum, are you speeding? Because speeding is reallllly bad. Are you speeding now? How bout now? Is that sign how fast you can go? How fast are you going?' Hmmmmmmm. I love her so much. She is the most sunshiney smiley sweethearted girl…but this phase is really testing my patience.
2- Im thinking about going back to university in the second semester. I know, I know…
3- I changed Awana positions this year and am now the Awana secretary. Big job, but I am loving it already :)
4- Am in charge of making a new church directory. Anyone know of a really simple program to do this (with photos)? The ones I can find online are not what Im looking for, but am happy to take recommendations.
5- I have a desperate craving to order the Zion Chronicles and Zion Covenant to read. I read them when I was pregnant with Jayde and they keep popping into my head. Then I remember that I shouldn’t read so much fiction :S.
6- Jack just ordered a bunch of Agapeland CDs. Must be a nostalgic month!
7- I played netball tonight and we won by 4 points. Woohoo. Shame it wasn’t my normal team and I was just filling in on a friends’ team.
8- Havent had any chocolate for just over a week. You laugh, but I seriously am a sugar addict.
9- Did I mention that a week ago my bridesmaid dress came in? AND THAT I CANT FIT INTO IT? Did I mention I had to ORDER ANOTHER ONE IN A BIGGER SIZE to my absolute disgust and embarrassment. Even if they let out the seams and put in an extra panel I wasn’t going to get into it. In fact, rather than losing weight, I have done nothing but gain weight. Im considering turning it into a matron of honour joke ie ‘not many best friends would put on weight just to make the bride look thinner’…but I don’t think that will go down so well. *cry* *wah* *boo hooimafatpiiiig*. :Last week was ‘doppleganger’ week on facebook.
